Where Are Your Reddit Saved Posts?

The exact clicks for the Reddit website, the iPhone and Android app, and old Reddit, plus what to do when a save seems to be missing.

    7 min readJuly 9, 2026

    The Short Answer

On the Reddit website, click your avatar in the top-right corner, choose View Profile, then open the Saved tab, or go straight to reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved. In the Reddit app on iPhone or Android, open your profile, tap the menu (three lines) near the top right and select Saved. On old Reddit, go to old.reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved, or click your username and then the saved tab.

Your saved list is private to your account and shows both saved posts and saved comments, newest first. Reddit only displays roughly your most recent 1,000 saved items and has no search box for them, which is why older saves can seem to vanish. Both problems are covered below.

How to See Saved Posts on Desktop (reddit.com)

    1

Log in to the account you saved with

Open reddit.com in any browser and make sure you are logged in to the same account you used when you saved the posts. Saves belong to one account and do not carry over to your other accounts.
    2

    Open your profile

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of any Reddit page, then click View Profile.
    3

    Click the Saved tab

In the row of tabs under your name, click Saved. This is the path Reddit's own help center gives: go to your profile and click the saved tab. If the tab row is cut off on a narrow window, look for it at the end of the row.
Bookmark reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved (with your own username in place of YOUR_USERNAME) to get there in one click next time.
    4

Find saved comments in the same place

Saved comments live in the same Saved section as saved posts. Depending on the version of Reddit you are shown, they are either mixed in with posts or available under a separate comments view at the top of the list.

How to See Saved Posts in the Reddit App (iPhone and Android)

    1

    Open your profile

Open the Reddit app and tap your avatar (profile picture) in the top-right corner. In some versions of the app this opens a menu where Saved is listed directly; if so, tap it and you are done.
    2

    Open the menu (three lines)

If you land on your profile page instead, tap the menu icon (three lines) near the top right. Reddit's help center describes this route for both iOS and Android.
    3

    Tap Saved

Select Saved. You will see the same saved posts and comments as on the website, because saves are stored on your Reddit account, not on your phone.
If the list looks empty or out of date, pull down to refresh, make sure the app is updated, and check that the app is signed in to the same account you use on desktop.
    4

    Or use a mobile browser

You can also open reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved in your phone's browser while logged in. It shows the same list as the app.

How to See Saved Posts on Old Reddit

Old Reddit (old.reddit.com) still works and shows your saves as a plain, paged list. While logged in, click your username in the top-right corner and then the saved tab, or go directly to old.reddit.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/saved.

Old Reddit shows 25 items per page by default. In old Reddit's preferences you can raise the number of links displayed at once (up to 100), which makes it much faster to page through a long saved list or search it with your browser's find function.

    Where Do Saved Comments Go?

Saving a comment works like saving a post: open the comment's overflow menu (three dots) and choose Save. Saved comments go to the same Saved section of your profile on the website, in the app and on old Reddit. Each one shows the comment text with a link back to the thread it came from.

Saved comments share the same display limit as saved posts, so if you save a lot of comments, your older saved posts drop out of view sooner.

Why Some of Your Saved Posts Are Missing

Reddit only displays about 1,000 saved items. Reddit's lists, including Saved, stop at roughly your most recent 1,000 items, with posts and comments counted together. Anything older is not shown on the website, in the app or through Reddit's API, even though you never unsaved it. This is the most common reason long-time users cannot find older saves.

The post was deleted or removed. If the author deleted a post or moderators removed it, it may show as deleted or removed, or drop out of your list altogether. The same can happen when a subreddit is banned or goes private.

You are logged in to a different account. Saves belong to the account that made them. If you have more than one Reddit account, or the app is signed in to a different account than your browser, check each one.

Content settings hide some items. If you saved NSFW posts or posts from quarantined communities, your account's mature-content settings may affect whether they appear. Check those settings if specific saves are missing.

The app is showing a stale view. Pull to refresh, update the app, or check the same list on the website. If a save appears on the web but not in the app, it is a display problem, not a lost save.

How to Search Your Saved Posts

Reddit has no search box for saved posts on any platform, and Reddit's main search cannot be limited to your saves. The built-in workaround is to load as much of your Saved list as you can, by scrolling down on the website or by setting old Reddit to show 100 items per page, and then press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on a Mac) to search the page. It only matches text that is visible on the page, and only for items you have loaded.

If you need to search everything you have saved, a dedicated tool is the practical option. Readdit Later is a Chrome extension that reads your saves through the Reddit session you are already logged into, with no password to enter and no Reddit app authorization to grant, and keeps them in a searchable library. Search is free on every plan: keyword search, filters, and AI-powered semantic search that finds posts by meaning rather than exact words. It supports saved comments, and you can add labels, collections and notes. It is strictly read-only on Reddit, so it never saves, unsaves or deletes anything in your account.

Keeping Your Saves Past 1,000 From Now On

Reddit's 1,000-item display limit cannot be switched off, and no tool can bring back saves that are already hidden behind it in your Saved list. What you can do is keep your own copy of every save from now on, so that when newer saves push older ones out of Reddit's view, you still have them.

Readdit Later does this by keeping every save it captures from the day you install it; posts that later fall past Reddit's 1,000-item limit stay in your library. The free plan shows all your saves for the first 7 days after install, then your latest 100, while paid plans keep the whole library visible. It works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers on desktop; there is no mobile app.

For saves that are already hidden, Reddit's own data request (reddit.com/settings/data-request) is the main way to get a list of what you saved. The guide on recovering old Reddit saves walks through it.
